The University of Alabama National Alumni Association has recognized the Atlanta Chapter as Division 1A Out-of-State Chapter of the Year. The Atlanta chapter was also recognized with the “web site of the year” award among all University chapters.

The officers of the Atlanta Alumni Association would like to thank all of you for your generous support over the last year. It all started in August with an amazing New Student Picnic with more than 350 incoming freshman, their families and alumni. We had a successful scholarship golf tournament and a holiday party with Athletics Director Mal Moore. Along the way, we more than tripled our scholarship fundraising from the previous year. We could not have done it without you.  Thank you all and Roll Tide!
