The Capstone Social Club organizes social events for alumni to connect with old classmates and meet new friends. Events typically take place on Thursday nights and offer an environment for alumni to gather, enjoy cocktails, and good company. The Capstone Social Club promotes community activism within the Atlanta area by partnering with local organizations and associations.

Join the Alabama Crimson Tide and Penn State Nittany Lions for a joint social event at Rí Rá Irish Pub in Midtown on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
Rí Rá will provide drink and appetizer specials for all alumni! The drink specials will include: $4.00 draft beer, Harp and Yuengling.
Note: The event will be taking place in the back of the bar, so please be sure to head that way when arriving.
And, Atlanta's favorite sports talk station, 790 The Zone will be there to help get alumni pumped up for the big game Saturday. 790 The Zone hosts will be:
· Discussing Alabama/Penn State football history
· Testing you with trivia questions with special giveaways, and
· Sharing predictions of the upcoming SEC and Big Ten football seasons

Test your knowledge of the Capstone's history, Crimson Tide football, Paul "Bear" Bryant, Denny Chimes, the President's Mansion, as well as some random bits of knowledge.
